Beyond low emissions

Over 20 years ago, the goal of zero emissions inspired us to introduce the world's first Hybrid production car. That drive continues today, with Plug-in Hybrids, zero-emission Battery-Electric vehicles and Hydrogen-powered cars. As leaders in electrification, we won't stop there. With plans to launch 40 new or updated electric vehicles by 2025, we will offer the widest range of electrified powertrains. That way, everyone can enjoy the right technology, at the right time, for their needs.

  • Battery electric. 100% zero emissions

    Showcased by the BZ4X and built on over 20 years' electrification expertise, the Toyota bZ4X Concept offers the first glimpse into the future of our new Battery-Electric family that creates a safer society where everyone enjoys greater peace of mind.

  • Hydrogen fuel cell. The only emission is water

    Quick to refuel and with a driving range over 500 km, the pioneering hydrogen-powered Mirai features a fuel cell that delivers clean, powerful performance with no emissions other than water.
